Every October 4th, the world celebrates World Animal Day, a date that invites us to reflect on the respect, care, and protection that animals deserve. In this spirit, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee of OMC Group held a volunteer day on Saturday, October 24th, at FUNDASIS, an organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of domestic pets.
Lending a Hand to Those Waiting for a Home
During the activity, 7 volunteers from our organization took part in cleaning and preparing the facilities. Altogether, the team contributed 28 volunteer hours, helping maintain a clean, safe, and suitable environment for the more than 43 animals that have found a temporary home at FUNDASIS while they wait for a new opportunity.
More Than a Volunteer Day
For OMC Group, this experience was an opportunity to see firsthand the daily effort FUNDASIS makes to provide care, attention, and affection to each of the rescued animals. It also allowed us to come together as a team around a cause that inspires us.
We thank all the collaborators who dedicated their time to this initiative, as well as the FUNDASIS team for opening their doors to us.
