On August 25, 2024, OMC GROUP proudly joined thousands of Panamanians in the iconic Susie Thayer Family Walk, organized by Fundacáncer for its 25th edition. This event, which has become a cornerstone in the fight against cancer in Panama, brought together survivors, families, and friends, offering companies like OMC GROUP the opportunity to support this noble cause through corporate volunteering.
With more than 40 volunteers and runners actively participating, our team was present at the event in Panama City, reinforcing our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and creating a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Through initiatives like this, we reaffirm our solidarity with the patients and families fighting cancer, while supporting Fundacáncer’s mission to raise funds for equipping the National Oncology Institute. The funds raised during this walk will help provide vital medical equipment to improve patient care, such as transport stretchers, ventilators for intensive care patients, and fibroscopes for surgical procedures.
