Corporate tax St. Kitts & Nevis
As a result of the changes and amendments in the St. Kitts & Nevis’ Regulations, and the new Tax Return form requirement, many of our clients have solicited us more clarification on this matter.
Throughout this webinar, we will give you an overview of the Nevis Tax Regime and some of the changes that the jurisdiction has had this year.
First, we will review the St. Kitts & Nevis Income Tax Act which outlines the legal framework for taxes.
Then, we will summarize the chronology of the inclusion and exclusion of St. Kitts & Nevis to and from the list of non-cooperative jurisdictions in tax matters by the European Union, which is actually what is driving all these changes.
After this, we will review the different amendments to the corporate laws, including the St. Kitts & Nevis Companies’ Act, the Nevis Business Corporations Ordinance of 2017.
And the Nevis Limited Liability Companies Ordinance of 2017.
We will walk you through the CIT-101 Tax Return form.
Which all companies formed under the above legislations will need to fill by December 31st, 2020.
Finally, we will share the guidance on Tax Residence and Taxable Presence in the Federation.
